What is Rider L, Rider R, Rider T?

Rider L is the part of ConEd’s tariff, that outlines the BYOT (Bring Your Own Thermostat) program to be able to remotely control the temperature of a dwelling.

Rider R is the part of ConEd’s tariff, that outlines dwellings with solar power systems utilizing Net Metering.

Rider T is the part of ConEd’s tariff, that outlines the Demand Response program.

To participate in Meltek’s energy-saving program, you must not be in the BYOT program, and if you have a solar power system enrolled in net metering there are some limits in place as well.
