What is the "baseline" against which my energy savings are measured?

Based on your smart meter (AMI) data, we take an average of your electricity usage over a ten-day period in similar hours. That is referred to as your "baseline." Baselines are used to calculate how much energy you saved during a peak demand event. Baselines are adjusted for weather and can change depending on usage and weather.
