Why should I connect my Electric Vehicle (EV)?

Meltek’s Demand Response (DR) program rewards users who can control their power use.  Almost everyone can control their power use by controlling temperature of air conditioning and home devices.  If you have an EV, you may be able to control your power consumption even more, and get an even bigger reward with us. By connecting your vehicle, you enable us to include your charging cycles in the energy savings calculations during our demand response events — this leads to a higher balance of the grid by delaying charging during demand response events.
